Clear Horizon specialises in monitoring and evaluation thus has strong skills and experience in a range of data collection methods including semi-structure interviews, participatory appraisal techniques, storytelling, goal attainment scaling, global assessment scaling, internet surveys, focus groups, network mapping, photo-illicitation, telephone survey and more. Furthermore, our methods invite culturally appropriate data collection by participants themselves and the use of innovative methods such as the Most Significant Change technique (MSC). While we are experts in qualitative and participatory methods, we advocate for a mixed method approach in order to add breadth to the information collected as well as to corroborate and triangulate the more qualitative findings. We therefore also have the capability to do data review and statistical analysis.
