Untangling Contribution
Evaluation of many initiatives is often a somewhat complex process. The causal pathways to outcomes can be influenced by a number of different stakeholders at different levels. We therefore employ techniques that are sufficiently exploratory and in-depth to surface the more intangible impacts in addition to articulating the links between interventions and outcomes. Through presenting and discussing the logic behind the program when reporting performance, one has laid out exactly what is being measured and what the major assumptions are concerning the contribution of the program (Dart and Mayne 2005).
Unlike many other consultancy companies, Clear Horizon favours in-depth and analytical reports that really seek to articulate how a project may have contributed its expected and unexpected outcomes. Clear Horizon consultants are known to pace the floors at night trying to really understand the patterns emerging from the data! We will also conduct additional inquiry if we feel that questions remain unanswered.
