Our Clients
Clear Horizon has a wide range of clients, with about 70% being Government (Local, State and Commonwealth) and the remaining 30% being philanthropic or not-for-profit organisations. At this stage we seldom work for private sector organisations. The majority of our work is located in Australia, and the remainder (about one third) is conducted mainly in New Zealand and Asia Pacific, although we occasionally venture farther afield.
Sectors
Clear Horizon has four main consultancy teams which are themed by sector of work to ensure that our consultants can offer tailored services. While these teams are sector specific, the services we provide are all associated with participatory planning, monitoring and evaluation. The sectoral teams are:
The Environment & NRM team: led by Caroline Love. This includes the following program areas: biodiversity, waterways, soil health, coast and marine, community, agricultural land and integrated planning
The Urban & Agricultural Sustainability team: led by Kate Nichols. This includes the following program areas: household sustainability and behavior change programs, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and research, development and extension in sustainable agriculture.
The Organisational Change team: lead by Dr Jess Dart, the Organisational Change team works across all sectors, but focuses on whole organisations rather than on specific programs and projects.
The Community Development and Social Justice team: led by Zoe Dawkins. This includes the following program areas: overseas development, social health, community development, leadership, working with Indigenous people, education, Justice, early childhood, youth and disability.
