Zoë is an applied anthropologist with experience in project design, monitoring and evaluation, and health and development research. Zoë holds a Master of Applied Anthropology and Participatory Development, and a Graduate Diploma in Development Studies. Zoë specialises in evaluation, arts and culture in development, and anthropological approaches to effective community consultation.

Zoë has experience working in a wide range of contexts including with urban and rural communities in Australia, Cambodia, China, Fiji, India, Papua New Guinea, and Vietnam as well as for AusAID and a range of international organisations. Most recently, Zoë’s work has included conducting a digital storytelling program with the Murri community in Brisbane and an impact evaluation for the Australian Red Cross, to assess the effectiveness of their youth peer education approach to HIV/AIDS prevention implemented across the Asia Pacific region for over a decade.

Zoë has recently joined Clear Horizon as a consultant in the Community Development and Social Justice team. She is primarily responsible for conducting social and community based evaluations, including a focus on community based health.
