Carolynne has over 25 years experience managing change, business optimisation, and organisational development in large and complex environments around the world. Carolynne is highly regarded for her ability to design and implement programs and interventions for change management, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, capacity building and business optimisation, this coupled with a proven and passionate record of providing coaching and consulting services.

Carolynne is also a highly experienced facilitator having facilitated hundreds of workshops in different global contexts. She is experienced in a broad range of facilitation techniques, including world cafe, open space, appreciative inquiry, participatory problem solving, program logic and many more.

Carolynne has a Masters of Business Administration (MBA), is a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Administrator, Six Sigma Black Belt and has managed well over 100 complex programmes with budgets up to $200 million.

In July 2009, Carolynne became the Principal Consultant for Stakeholder Engagement and Change Management at Clear Horizon Consulting. As part of this role, Carolynne is responsible for building internal and external change management capability as well as leading the enhancement and development of methodologies and tools for effective delivery of engagement and change. Prior to her appointment to this role, Carolynne was a key member of Clear Horizon’s Advisory Board for a period of three years.

At Clear Horizon Carolynne has:

  • designed and delivered a Management Core Concepts 4-day Training Program, customising where necessary to meet the clients needs
  • been invited to be a key note speaker on managing change at diverse forums
  • evaluated the Victorian Catchment Management Authorities board appointment process, the evaluation report having been published and recognised for its high quality in report writing
  • engaged diverse stakeholders and produced evaluation plans for high profile initiatives
  • designed and facilitated various types of activities across government and the non-government organisation sectors, including: Department of Sustainability and Environment, Department of Primary Industries, Department of Human Services, Department of Transport, the Red Cross and the Centre for Multicultural Youth
  • facilitated the development of charters to frame major projects such as building evidence based services across the nation
  • co-facilitated with Dr. Jess Dart who is globally recognised for her contributions to evaluation.

Prior to joining Clear Horizon, Carolynne was the Segment Leader at World Vision Australia where she built and implemented a strategy to engage the corporate sector in enhancing their corporate social responsibility through their business models. Following this, Carolynne enjoyed an 18-month assignment with World Vision International as the Global Transformation Manager for a major change program focused on transparency, standard practices and governance across the globe.

Previous to World Vision, Carolynne enjoyed a rich and extensive range of appointments, including management of business enhancement and organisation development at General Motors for 5½ years as well as leadership of a 12-month project at Medibank Private, assessing, designing and implementing a national customer complaints model. In addition to these experiences, Carolynne has also had change and quality manager roles at General Electric, Telstra, Department of Human Services (Victoria) and Business Computers of Australia. Carolynne is driven by her desire to be a contributor to a sustainable and equitable global community.
