Damien brings together his strong knowledge and experiences of behaviour change and monitoring and evaluation to develop robust project designs and M&E frameworks.
Damien is a sustainability generalist and experienced M&E practitioner, with wide-ranging knowledge and experience in community economic development, climate change mitigation and adaptation, resource management, vocational education, and community and business engagement. He has worked in local development, industry, education and consultancy. He brings the ability to critically analyse diverse information to identify lessons and recommendations. Damien is also experienced in developing clear and concise learning resources.
Damien has extensive experience working the Pacific region, including training in project design and monitoring and evaluation (GCCA: PSIS project proposal training across 9 countries; ACSE program; Kyoto Adaptation Fund in the Pacific), developing project design documentation (ACSE program), supporting country and regional projects teams with M&E (PACC program), and developing and implementing M&E frameworks (EU-funded GCCA: PSIS final evaluation, World Vision Solomon Islands).
Damien was a key contributor to the development of the online Evaluation Toolbox in his previous roles.
When not in the office, Damien can be found on the long commute back to the Macedon Ranges. In his spare time, Damien likes to take long (but fast) walks. He is avidly waiting for his bees to produce more honey, and in the meantime has taken up fencing (épee).
