Evaluator as Facilitator
One day: 16 Apr (2010)
A key secret to success in participatory evaluation approaches, and in running workshops on program logic, MSC, and evaluation summits is facilitation. We discuss the underlying philosophies behind approaches to evaluation and facilitation and explore practical applications in a range of contexts. The course includes a reflection on the two roles and explores their overlap when conducting participatory evaluation processes. In particular we share our experiences and explain how to facilitate some key participatory evaluation methods such as program logic, Most Significant Change (MSC) technique and the evaluation summit. This is a hands-on workshop offering lots of insights and opportunity to learn some practical tools. In this new workshop we will be sharing our secrets of how to facilitate evaluation processes.
