Team Leader, Clear Horizon International

Clear Horizon International (CHI) is the international development effectiveness arm of Clear Horizon, with ten full time permanent staff.  We are the largest provider of design, monitoring and evaluation services to DFAT and its partners – with a purview of around 80 DFAT-funded programs representing around $500m of investments per annum.  We have a healthy portfolio of long-term projects spanning South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific, and are on several panels including DFAT, MFAT, DFID and more.

We are seeking a Team Leader for the CHI team to be responsible for developing and implementing strategy across the business group. This is a high level, strategic role and an amazing opportunity for someone with development and evaluation expertise to lead an established and highly functional team into its next phase. 

This is a full time role role, located in Melbourne, with international and Australian domestic travel.

Clear Horizon is seeking a Principal Consultant who will support the Clear Horizon International (CHI) team to deliver a range of services to clients related to organisational and program design, monitoring and evaluation. The position also provides for contribution to Clear Horizon’s domestic clients. We are seeking a dynamic, intelligent and motivated individual.  The individual should have competencies in program design, program-wide monitoring and evaluation, strategic advice, and up to date practical knowledge and experience in international development program theory, and strong writing skills. The individual should be experienced in quantitative and qualitative approaches, with strong analytical skills. 

This is a full time role role, located in Melbourne, with international and Australian domestic travel.
