Nathan brings an interdisciplinary skill-set to his evaluation projects that draw on his experience as an environmental analyst, systems thinker and social researcher.
An experienced evaluation consultant, Nathan is driven by a curiosity about relationships between people and place, and finds evaluation an exciting practice in interdisciplinary thought and systems level change-making in an increasingly complex world.
Nathan completed The University of Melbourne’s Master of Environment, working the boundaries between science, policy and culture to identify opportunities to enhance the resilience of our environment and waterways. After this, he spent a period with the CSIRO, where he co-published a number of papers. Nathan then pursued a career in consulting, working first with Roberts Evaluation then Alluvium until he finally found his tribe with Clear Horizon.
When he's not on his bike, Nathan spends his time enjoying live music and drinking long blacks over a good book.
