Pyching Marma is an intern with the Social Justice team. He is a keen learner of Monitoring and Evaluation. He has a diverse background in terms of his origin being an Indigenous Bangladeshi, his knowledge in Business and Economics and experience in different industries. His area of interests includes CALD community and youth empowerment programs, socio-economic development, human rights and indigenous rights. Pyching has grassroots level experience working in the remote indigenous regions of Chittagong Hill Tracts, Bangladesh implementing UNDP programs and campaign for indigenous rights. Pyching has knowledge in various approaches including rights based and holistic approaches for sustainable socio-economic development and climate justice for the forest dwelling indigenous peoples.
Besides his profession, Pyching is a well-known writer and blogger. Pyching’s articles are published in Bangla notably from the Deutsche Welle (A German News Agency) and in Bangladeshi publications.
