Callisha Gregg-Rowan

Callisha Gregg-Rowan is a consultant in Clear Horizon’s Social Impact team. Callisha has a strong background working in diverse contexts, bringing expertise in two worlds, participatory and community-led measurement, evaluation, and learning approaches. Prior to joining Clear Horizon Callisha worked in the Northern Territory for a First Nations led organisation co-coordinating the Monitoring and Evaluation team, supporting local communities to co-design and develop culturally appropriate M&E systems and research projects. With a background in community development, social work and facilitation worked with culturally and linguistically diverse communities, young people and First Nations communities, Callisha values community led change, capacity building and participatory design. Across any work or project Callisha is passionate about supporting and empowering individuals and communities to self-determine their own futures.

Committed to an intersectional approach to change, Callisha is at the tail end of completing a Master of Environment with a focus on climate justice, place-based change and political ecology. A creative at heart Callisha engages with non-traditional and accessible MEL tools and methods were appropriate and is particularly passionate about the possibilities of filmmaking and photography for storytelling and MEL.

Outside of work, Callisha likes to spend as much time as possible hiking, camping or in the veggie garden with any friends or family she can rope into these various pursuits.
