Operations Coordinator (Systems & Learning Delivery) – 0.6 FTE Melbourne based

We’re seeking a motivated and qualified person to join our Clear Horizon Academy team to create a seamless journey for our learners, taking them from enrolment, through to onboarding and engaging with our courses and into our Alumni community.

This role would commence at 0.6 FTE with the potential to increase as the business scales.

About the role

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Improving and automating the Academy’s operations including administrative processes, learning management system, project management system and learner relationship management system.
  • Project management of the delivery component of Academy learning projects to time, budget and the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
  • Warm lead phone-calling to those who have expressed interest in an upcoming public course
  • Enrolment invoicing and tracking
  • Onboarding learners into our public and in-house courses, ensuring they have a positive, seamless experience
  • Providing practical support to learners including responding to enquiries via email, phone and course discussion boards

About you 

Must have skills/experience:

  • Exceptional organisational, planning and project management skills with eagle-eyed attention to detail and the ability to meet deadline and budget.
  • Online learning management system (LMS) administration (we use Brightspace by D2L but experience with any LMS will suffice) or experience in administrating similar systems.
  • Experience optimising and automating operations and administrative systems and processes
  • A highly motivated and self-starter.
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to exercise effective and independent judgment and creativity and sensitivity to changing needs and situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 environment – Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint, Teams etc.

Digital and Data Senior Consultant (Melbourne based)

Development of digital measurement, evaluation and learning processes and tools and with an international development focus.

Clear Horizon has set a bold strategic goal to digitalise measurement, evaluation and learning processes and tools for our clients and partners. The measurement, evaluation and learning space is ripe for disruption and at Clear Horizon we believe digital provides the opportunity to vastly change the user experience of MEL inside organisations. We want to make MEL faster, easier, more accessible and ultimately more impactful.

This role has the opportunity to shape this future in Clear Horizon and in the sector, reporting directly to the Chief Digital and Data Officer (CDDO) and as a core member of the digital and data team.

This role will be the key liaison with our Clear Horizon International team in supporting their clients with digital and data solutions for monitoring and evaluation projects. The Clear Horizon International team delivers Clear Horizon’s core services to international development organisation and agencies.  We have a portfolio of long-term projects in South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Pacific. In addition, we have established partnerships and associates around the region including with think tanks, research institutions, complementary advisor groups, local MEL providers and more.

About you 

You will have a background at least 2 years’ experience working in a consultancy role, including a demonstrated ability to write successful proposals and excellent reports.

As a Digital and Data Senior Consultant, you will have experience in human centred design and agile ways of working and you will have a good understanding and willingness to develop Ux and UI development and liaising with technical developers. You will also have experience in data wrangling, data management systems, data analytics as well as having excellent computer skills including database and operating systems experience. You will also have the ability to manage and lead teams and you will have good analytical and problem-solving capabilities and be able to work in a high paced work environment with shifting priorities, demands and timelines.

It would be awesome if you have experience in building M&E frameworks and systems in international development sectors in the Not for Profit and/or International Development. And have a good understanding of best practices in Business Intelligence including the development and management of data warehouses, ETL processes and reporting/analytical solutions using Business Intelligence tools.
